Day 1: KATHMANDU

You’ll be met by one of our representatives at the airport and be able to relax in your hotel for most of the day.

Day 2: KATHMANDU

Spend the day exploring Kathmandu Valley, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath Stupa, and Patan City. In the evening, enjoy dinner at typical Nepalese restaurant and a performance of regional dance.

Day 3: KATHMANDU AND POKHARA

After breakfast, we’ll take a short flight to Pokhara and check into our hotel. In the afternoon, you’ll meet your guide and take a half-day tour around Pokhara City. The tour includes Davis Fall and Gupteshor Mahadeva Cave, followed by a boat ride over Phewa Lake to visit Barahi Temple.

Day 4: POKHARA AND PHEDI AND POTANA

After breakfast, we’ll meet our trekking crew and drive half an hour to Phedi. Your trek to Pothana begins. We’ll spend the night in a tent. 

Day 5: PHEDI AND KOTE

We’ll hike to Kote, which is also called Forest Camp (2,600 m) and spend the night in a tent.

Day 6: KOTE AND EKLE DEURALI 

We’ll trek to Ekle Deurali, which is also known as Low Camp (3,500 m) and spend the night in a tent. 

Day 7:  EKLE DEURALI AND BAGALE DEURALI

We’ll trek to Bagale Deurali (Deurali means “Porters’ Resting Place”), which is also known as High Camp and Kew (3,900 m).  We’ll spend two nights here because drinking water is not available in higher places from this point.  

Day 8: MARDI HIMAL BASE CAMP

We take a day hike today to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,450 m) with packed lunch before returning to Bagale Deurali for the night.  You’ll be dazzled but the close-up mountain views of Machhapuchhare (“Fishtail”), Hiunchuli, and Annapurna South.  

Day 9: BAGALE DEURALI AND SIRIKHA KHARKA

We’ll trek back to Sirkha Kharka (3,460 m) and spend the night in a tent. 

Day 10: SIRIKHA KHARKA to KARCHON

Trek to Karchon (3,682 m). Stay overnight in a tent.

Day 11: KARCHON to CHICHEMLE KHARKA

Trek to Chichemle Kharka (2,645 m). Stay overnight in a tent.

Day 12: CHICHEMLE KHARKA to LALKA

Trek to Lalka (2,250 m). Stay overnight in a tent.

Day 13: LALKA to MARDI PUL to POKHARA

Trek to Mardi Pul (1,000 m) and then drive back to Pokhara.

Day 14: POKHARA AND KATHMANDU

After breakfast, we’ll catch a flight back to Kathmandu and check into our hotel. Then we’ll spend some time on a sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur City, Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudhanath Stupa.

Day 15: FINAL DEPARTURE

Enjoy some time at your own leisure before boarding your return flight.

•   We mostly stay in locally owned accommodation, use local guides and use transport owned and operated by local people wherever available. This keeps money in the local economy and sustains the culture.

•  We operate only small groups (maximum of 10 people) so that we will have a minimal impact on local environment. All our trekking guides are trained and responsible for ensuring that the guests understand the nature of the environment that they are in and minimize the impact that they may have.

•  We use only designated campsites, collect and dispose of all litter. In addition, we boil our drinking water instead of using bottled water, and use responsible cooking fuels (kerosene) instead of wood.

•  We provide proper equipment for porters for the type of trek they are about to work on. Only necessary equipment and food stuffs are supplied to minimize the load to porters.

•  Every guest gets “Responsible Tourism” information before they leave. This contains details and advice on how they can make a positive difference during their adventure.

•  We work in partnership with various local non-profit organizations, which, in turn, provide local community development. Our partners in Nepal contribute 2 to 5 percent of our profit each year through these non-profit oriented organizations for health and sanitation, awareness program, free education, tree planting, and other good works.
